Junto helps you and your household budget together. We collect as little as possible, we never sell your data, and we never use it to train AI models. Here we explain, in plain language, what information we process and what you decide.
Who is behind Junto
Junto is operated by The Nomad Code LLC, 4301 S. Flamingo Road, Suite 106 #573, Davie, FL 33330, USA — a US company (LLC). The company is the data controller for the information described here.
What information we process
- Your account: your name and email, so you can log in and be invited to a household.
- Your budget: the expenses, budgets, income and savings that you and your household enter yourselves.
- Receipts you choose to scan: images you upload yourself so Junto can read the amount and shop. They are processed by our own AI model, running in a sandboxed, secure environment inside our own infrastructure at Cloudflare. Receipts are never passed on to external AI services and are never used to train models. Scanning a receipt is always your choice.
Who helps us
To make Junto work, we share only what's needed with a small set of trusted providers:
- Cloudflare — hosting, and the infrastructure where our own AI model reads receipts in a sandboxed environment.
- Resend — sending emails, such as confirmations and invitations.
- Polar — payments. Polar is the merchant of record for Junto AI, so Junto never sees your card details.
AI access to your budget
If you connect an AI assistant to Junto (for example Claude or ChatGPT via MCP), it only gets access to your own household's data — and only after you connect it yourself. You can disconnect it again at any time. We never sell your data, and we never use it to train AI models.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- see the information we hold about you (access),
- have incorrect information corrected (rectification),
- have your data deleted (erasure),
- get a copy of your data in a common format (portability),
- complain to Datatilsynet, the Danish data protection authority, if you think we handle your data wrongly.

We only use the cookies needed to keep you logged in. No tracking, no ads, and no third-party analytics that follow you around the web.
Changes
If we update this policy, we change the date at the top of the page. We'll let you know about any significant changes.
