Why is Whitelisting Important?

Unsolicited and undesired advertising email, known commonly as spam, has become a major problem. It has become such a problem that all major email providers (Hotmail, Gmail, Yahoo Mail, AOL Mail, etc.) are now using filtering software to block spam email. I fully support these efforts, but filtering software is far from perfect. These tools often block e-mail that you have requested, but that fits somebody else’s idea of what spam looks like. Every now and then, filtering programs and blacklists will inadvertently flag messages from large email senders, such as Junto, as spam.

These false positives can prevent you from receiving my newsletter. You can tell your email provider that you always want to receive my newsletter by adding our email address (newsletter@junto.finance) to your whitelist. A whitelist is simply a pre-approved list of email addresses or domain names that you want to receive email from.
